This error in the Canon Printer can trouble up while performing a printing a document. You can take help from the Canon Printer Support for help.

What are the reasons for blank page printing?

• The Bubble Jet has run out of ink

• The printhead nozzle might have clogged

• You might not have selected the correct media type in the printer

How to handle the error?

You will have to start the process by checking the level of ink in the BJ tank:

• BJ tank is one of the most advanced technology by Canon Printers which has microheaters in each nozzle of the printheads

• You need to check if the BJ has ink or it’s completely out of ink. If it is low in ink or completely out of ink please replace the same

• Open the document tray while the Multipass of the printer is on

• To open the printer cover lift the lever

• Lift the blue colored cartridge lock to remove the BJ Tank

• Now remove the cartridge from its packaging

• First, remove the orange protective tape and then the protective tape

• Once you have opened the tape carefully insert it to the cartridge holder

• Press the blur lock lever to lock the BJ Tank

• Press on the orange tapes for some time and then you can remove it.

Check for clogging on the nozzle printhead:

• The first step will be to print the nozzle check pattern. This will check whether the ink is being ejected properly from the print head nozzle.

• Under Start menu select settings and then click on printers ( For Windows XP user, click Start > Control Panel > Printers > and other hardware > Printers and Faxes).

• Choose the model of the Canon printer you are using and then click OK.

• Once you receive the print out just check if there is any line missing in the print.

• If there is any missing line that means you need to clean the printhead.

• For cleaning go to start menu, select Settings and then click on Printers.

• Select the printer model you have and then on Properties.

• Under maintenance, tab click on the Deep cleaning button and click OK.

• Once the cleaning process starts the power button will blink continuously .

• Please do not start any other procedure with the printer when the cleaning process is going on. Once the light stops blinking then the process is completed.

Take another print out of the printhead nozzle and check if the results are good.

If still, the print is not clear then you will have to do a deep printhead nozzle cleaning

• For deep cleaning go to Start menu, select settings and then Printer

• For Windows XP user, Start > Control panel > Printer > and other Hardware > Printers and Faxes

• Select the printer model you have

• Then open the maintenance tab and select Deep cleaning icon

• Click on the cleaning icon and then ok

• Once the process has started you will see the power light blinking

• It will take up to 2-3 minutes for the process and then you will see the blinking has stopped that means the process is completed

• After the process take another print out of nozzle printhead

• If the print is good then it's good or else you will have to run the process again

• After the third time also if you are not getting proper print then you will have to change the BJ tank
